The old site in Japanese occupation period used to be the military land for the first regiment of army infantry and artillery regiments of Taiwan. The main hall seats the bronze statue of President Chiang Kai Shek with theater and concert hall on the each side for international performance. The antient Chinese imperial architecture is so majestic that numerous international cultural perfomances take place here. Outside, Chung Cheng Park, covered with a massive green grass, stone trials, curved bridges and ponds, creates elegant atmosphere. Surrounded by antiquity walls, it displays the beauty of traditional Chinese garden.
